INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAYING BY CREDIT CARD:

By PHONE:  Call in your Mastercard or Visa Number with EXP date AND the last 3 digits of the security number found in the signature strip on the back of your card in to me at 740-498-5787 and leave it on the answering machine WITH THE ITEM NUMBER.  If you'd like to speak to me please Email me and we will arrange a time for me to be at the phone to receive your call.  I am usually available at the phone on weekday mornings from 0830 hrs to 1200 hrs Eastern US Time.

By E-MAIL Send me the Card number in at least two separate Emails for security purposes.  The
first Email should contain the answers to my questions above, the type of card (MC or
VISA)  and the first 8 digits of the card number.  The second Email should contain your
name and shipping address along with the second half of the Credit Card Number plus the
Expiration Date and Security Number from the back.

Feel free to send part of the number to otto@ebayonet.com and the rest to ebayonetdotcom@yahoo.com

IMPORTANT: If your billing address for the card is different from your shipping address you need to include the billing address too for card verification.  I use this security feature for YOUR protection. If the address you provide does not match the card verification address I will NOT fulfill your order so please ensure that you provide an accurate billing address for you card.  Please also do not forget the security number.  Many card transactions are rejected without it.

Once I've been paid I'll email you instructions on how best to describe your bayonet.  I may ask for pictures at that time to be sent to ebayonetdotcom@yahoo.com ONLY and NEVER to otto@ebayonet.com.  That address cannot handle the downloads.

I will provide an identicfication and a price range based on current market selling prices in my experience as a full time professional bayonet dealer.  If I have no experience with the particular bayonet in question I will simply be honest about it and tell you I don't know then refund your fee.  I will NOT just make something up.

If you have a large collection that you want identified and or appraised before you sell it or for insurance reasons,  you may be better off retaining me on a "Consultant" basis.  My Consulting fee is $300 per day (Minumum fee) plus any expenses for travel or shipping or other incidental costs that may occur.  It is generally cheaper to fly ME to YOUR location for this kind of thing but if you prefer to ship a collection to me for this kind of work or prefer to handle it by phone, mail and email we can work that out as well to our best mutual benefit.

Dealing in bayonets is my full time job.  This is what I do to pay my bills, It's not just a hobby.  I am a professional.  No other professional like a computer consultant, plumber or electrician will provide you with free advice on doing their jobs so you can avoid hiring them.  They invest their own time and money to become educated in their area of expertise so they can charge people to use that knowledge.  I am in exactly the same position with regard to bayonets.  I have thousands of dollars invested in my reference library and thousands of hours of my time invested in researching bayonets beyond what is found in books.  I expect to be compensated for using that knowledge or conducting additional research for your benefit.

If you are not willing to compensate me for these services I suggest you head for your nearest public library and start looking for books on bayonets and investing your own time in gathering this type of knowledge.  I'll wish you the best of luck.  I really don't care for these ID jobs anyway, they distract from my normal business.
