Description
M1917 bayonet with leather tab scabbard. REMINGTON marked 1918. POOR condition with lots of deep pitting. The scabbard has had the belt hook torn off of the tab and the throatpiece is dented but remains serviceable except for the hook. Tab is marked JEWELL 1917. The throatpiece has an additional rivet added to both sides. I've only recorded one other such throat rivets on a standard M1917 scabbard. Dan Morrison was unable to find any reference to these in his extensive research.
