Description
M1910 bayonet with scabbard. Odd variation with uniquely Mexican grip fasteners and slightly different scabbard. Poor condition and missing the locking catch. Blade has grinding and nicks. Hilt and scabbard brown with surface rust but not pitted except on the left side of the crossguard. Crossguard marked "REPUBLICA MEXICANA" and finial ball of scabbard marked "RM" in a box. There is a small "R" in a box on the spine of the blade. I can find no indicator of who produced this bayonet.
