Description
M1874/95 conversion bayonet with scabbard. ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN on the ricasso. Most books mis-identify these as being for a Kropatschek rifle but they are actually for the Chilean M1895 Carbine. The odd step on the back surface of the muzzle ring is for clearing the Carbine's front sight mouning band.
