Description
Austrian RG1888/95 bayonet with scabbard. OEWG. For former RG88 rifles updated by Austria during WWI by installing an M1895 barrel. Identical to M1888 bayonet but with smaller 15mm MRID. Siamese markings on the butt of the pommel. Unsharpened blade and still retains its original Austrian grips held by dome headed rivets in washers. Absolutely no Austrian property markings. I can find no record of Siam using this rifle but here is a clearly Siamese issued bayonet for it.
